My Educational
Background
Before going into dentistry, Dr. Harraji received a Bachelor of Applied Science and a Master of Engineering in Industrial Engineering. She completed her master’s at the University of Toronto and has an extensive background in leadership, innovation, and technology, and she brings that sophistication to her everyday clinical practice. After getting her master’s degree in 2013, she decided to switch her major to dentistry.
Dr. Harraji earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery (D.D.S.) from the Herman Ostrow School of Dentistry at the University of Southern California (USC), and she was awarded a Certificate of Advanced Graduate Studies in Endodontics after completing her specialized residency training at the Henry M. Goldman School of Dental Medicine at Boston University.
Her training covered all advanced aspects of conventional and surgical endodontics, including the use of high-tech instruments and dental microscopes. She has lectured and mentored many of her juniors, has defended and presented on various research topics, and continues to be involved in academic dentistry. Today, she is a member of the American Association of Endodontists, American Academy of Endodontists, and the Massachusetts Dental Society.
My Life Outside of
the Dental Office
Dr. Harraji grew up in Iran, immigrated to Canada, traveled to the west coast for dental school, and then the east coast for her residency, so she likes to say that she can call multiple places home. She is proud to be the first member of her family to become a dentist. When not at the office, she loves to exercise and is an avid swimmer, cyclist, and amateur runner. She also enjoys exploring new hiking trails and seeking out good food.
