Frequently Asked Dental Questions – North Attleboro, MA

We’re Here to Help

Whatever you want to know about our dental office, our services, or even just dental care in general, our team at Attleboro Dental Group is always ready to lend an ear to your questions and provide the answers you need to make the best decisions for your smile. Below are the answers to a few questions that we get regularly.

When Should I Schedule a Dental Appointment?

You should schedule a dental appointment whenever it has been six or more months since your last one. Getting a cleaning twice a year helps prevent plaque and tartar from doing permanent damage to your teeth, and it gives us a chance to identify cavities and other problems quickly.

What Can I Do to Replace Missing Teeth?

You can get a crown and bridge to replace a single tooth or a few teeth in a row. Dentures are recommended when multiple teeth – or even an entire arch or teeth – are missing. Dental implants can be used to replace any number of teeth as long as your jaw is healthy enough to support them. If you schedule a consultation with us, we can figure out which is the best choice for you and your smile.

I’m Unhappy with My Smile, What Should I Do?

Veneers, metal free crowns, whitening, gum recontouring, and BOTOX® all give you ways to address various flaws on your smile. We can plan a full smile makeover for you based on the changes you want to make. Call us to schedule a cosmetic consultation.

Do You Place Dental Implants?

Yes! We place dental implants in-house without having to refer patients to an outside specialist. You’ll have familiar faces to answer your questions and keep you comfortable all throughout the process.

Does It Hurt to Get a Root Canal?

It shouldn't! Root canals today are nothing like the horror stories we've probably all heard about in years past. We make sure you're completely numb before we treat the tooth - just like we would for any other dental care, such as a filling, so you won't feel a thing.

Can I Straighten My Smile Without Braces?

With Invisalign, it is possible to straighten your smile without traditional braces. The clear aligners can be taken out so that you can eat and brush your teeth without fear of damaging your orthodontic appliance. Call us if you’re interested in starting the Invisalign process.

Will You Take My Dental Insurance?

You bet! Fortunately, we accept nearly all dental insurance plans like Delta Dental, Blue Cross Blue Shield, Altus, and Cigna - just to name a few! If you have questions, just give us a call and we'll be sure to do a complimentary benefits check so there are no surprises.

If you don't have insurance, we also offer an in-house dental membership plan that is a better bargain than any private dental insurance many times. For just a low monthly fee, it covers most routine dental care including emergency visits. And, if you need more extensive care like a filling or crown, you'll get a discount on all of your care that is usually larger than that provided by dental insurance but with NO deductibles, annual maximums, and other barriers that dental insurance plans are so well known for.
