Why I Became
a Dentist
When Dr. Neelley got braces in high school, she saw first-hand how her orthodontist and their team were able to
positively affect the lives of others. That sparked her interest in the field of dentistry! Her passion was
further solidified when she went on two mission trips to Central America and became a member of the Pre-Dental
Society in college.
My Educational
Background
The first step to becoming a dentist was attending the University of California, Santa Cruz. From there,
Dr. Neelley earned her dental doctorate from the Roseman University of Health Sciences College of Dental
Medicine and attended a one-year Advanced General Dentistry residency at Tufts University. As a result,
she’s completed advanced training in oral surgery, endodontics, digital scanners, soft tissue lasers,
and more. To this day, she prioritizes continuing education with professional organizations, such as the
American Dental Association, the Massachusetts Dental Society, and the Academy of General Dentistry.
My Life Outside of
the Dental Office
Dr. Neelley’s interests outside of dentistry include hiking, fishing, rock climbing, practicing yoga, and
playing piano. She also loves spending time with her fiancé and their two pets, and she takes road trips back to
California to see family whenever she can!
