Dr. Courtney Brady brings sixteen years of experience, a passion for artistry, and a deep commitment to comprehensive care to every patient she sees. A Massachusetts native and nationally recognized lecturer, Dr. Brady combines world-class training in cosmetic dentistry, occlusion, and TMJ therapy with a warmth and authenticity that immediately puts patients at ease. Her ability to see the whole picture — the smile, the bite, the person behind it — is what sets her apart. Why I Became a Dentist
Dr. Brady always felt drawn to medicine, but finding exactly where she belonged took a little time. In college, she set out to explore — shadowing different specialties and keeping an open mind. Then came dentistry. After just one day in a dental office, she knew. The precision, the creativity, the immediate and visible impact on someone's confidence — it all clicked at once. As she puts it, it felt as though her calling had found her.
That sense of purpose has never wavered. More than a decade and a half later, the moment that still means the most to her is watching a patient see their smile differently — sometimes for the first time in years. That transformation, she says, never gets old.
My Educational Background
Dr. Brady earned her Bachelor of Science in Biology from Northeastern University before going on to earn her D.M.D. from Boston University's Henry M. Goldman School of Dental Medicine, where she graduated in 2011. At BU, she was far more than a student — she served as President of the Dental Student Research Group, chaired ASDA community outreach initiatives, and was selected to present her research at the 2009 IADR/AADR Meeting. She was also honored with the Matthew Boylan Scholarship, awarded annually by the Massachusetts Dental Society to a dental student who has provided distinguished service to organized dentistry and the community.
Following dental school, Dr. Brady completed an Advanced Education in General Dentistry (AEGD) residency at the University of Florida — one of the country's most prestigious programs — where she had the rare opportunity to learn firsthand from Dr. Peter Dawson, a pioneer in the science of occlusion. During that same residency, she earned her Fellowship in the International Congress of Oral Implantologists (FICOI).
Her commitment to learning has continued every year since. She has pursued extensive advanced training through Spear Education, multiple implant mini-residencies, and advanced coursework in comprehensive rehabilitation, esthetic and cosmetic dentistry, Invisalign, TMJ therapy, and Botox for both therapeutic and esthetic applications. She has also been a three-time participant in Dr. Frank Spear's exclusive Art of Presentation workshops — a program reserved for clinicians who lecture at the highest level.

Achievements & Leadership
Dr. Brady's contributions to dentistry extend well beyond her chair. She has served in leadership roles with both the Academy of General Dentistry and the Massachusetts Dental Society, including a term as President of the Massachusetts AGD. She was honored with the MDS 10 Under Ten Award, which recognizes the top young dentists in Massachusetts for significant contributions to the profession and their community. She is also a Key Opinion Leader for Invisalign, a designation awarded by Align Technology to clinicians at the forefront of clear aligner treatment.
Passionate about giving back to the next generation, Dr. Brady has led Spear Education study clubs, lectured nationally to dental students and new graduates, and founded her own study club specifically for young female dentists — because she knows how much it matters to see someone who looks like you leading the way.
My Life Outside of the Dental Office
When she's not in the office, Dr. Brady is almost certainly on the sidelines. Her husband Matt and their son Dax keep life wonderfully busy with a schedule packed full of sports and adventures — and she wouldn't have it any other way. Family, she says, is the center of her world.
Beyond cheering from the bleachers, Dr. Brady loves to travel, practice yoga, cook, and catch live music whenever she can. She's also a self-described lifelong learner, which means even her downtime has a way of turning into a new course, project, or creative pursuit. And here's something that surprises most people: she's a dentist who genuinely loves public speaking. She lectures nationally and actually enjoys being on stage — a combination her colleagues admit is a rare find.
